About this meetup
Once (roughly) every two weeks, a group of internet randos like you and me gather at Honey Latte Cafe for a pot-luck to meet other internet randos like you and me, but in an environment where alcohol is not involved. We eat snacks. We have non alcoholic beverages. We chat about anything and everything. Sometimes card games are involved. A few hours later, we all leave, happy and carefree and hopefully with some new friends.
The point is to help foster connection, build community, and help make friends. Someone I’d been messaging with showed up and had a great time. Later, I got a message saying they went and had food with another newcomer. This is why I’m doing this. I don’t just want to make friends, I want you to make them as well. It gives us all a reason to get out of our homes and defrost the Portland Freeze.
